The Castle at Olsztyn was built in the half of XIVth century to be a fortress on the border between Malopolska (South Eastern part of Poland) and Silesia. It was developed in the next century. Damaged in 1656 in the war by the Swedes it felt into ruin. Up today just fractions of the walls are retained. The ruins are situated on the ridge of a high hill among lime rocks. Adaptation example: durable ruins, its historical value and picturesque situation the ruins may be a touristic show-place.

this is just fantastic , i dont know why , maybe its the colouring im not sure , but theres something about this shot that makes the ruins come to life , and its as if they are back in their youth again
